Seed Woman

Inside a fruit cut by half, not a seed is found but a small woman who quietly dreams, wrapped over herself. Her abundant hair mingles with the substance of the fruit, evoking wavy vegetal fibers.
The displayed image corresponds to the cut section of the fruit. Both sides of the fruit are still in progress, and will be uploaded soon.

The Moon, from the group The Moon Eclipsing the Sun.

This is the clay working model, now in progress, for a group representing the Moon and the Sun; in the finished group the Moon will be covering (thus 'eclipsing') with a silver cloak the figure of the Sun, who huddles next to her.
I will soon upload the sculpture of The Sun, to allow you envisage thoroughly the final group.
